Perfect was to organize your “kid’s” Hotwheels!

Sucks if all you have is newer crap with a plastic chassis.

I really like the pickup.

Don’t some of them have a potmetal chassis? Almost as bad- metal, but brittle and non-magnetic.

The worst are the plated plastic. Looks like metal. Is not.

I did something like that in my guest bedroom.

It should still stick to the sides of the car, a lot of the cars in the hat pic are newer, and have plastic bases.

But ... those aren’t worth saving/displaying, are they?

I saw how some of the bodies extend below the chassis, but some don’t. I think I have some that have plastic rockers that extend up under the doors.

True, there are some it wouldn’t work on.

You sure about that?

That’s what they make those little magnets for!

No.

You could stick one of those cheap magnet strips to the bottom.

I’m guessing that all those cars had to have magnets stuck to them because those aren’t giant magnetic signs, and the wall bars are probably just metal too; magnets that big would be way too expensive. Plus the plastic wheels would hold even a metal chassis too far away unless they were mondo strong magnets.
So the chassis material doesn’t matter, go for it.

But... M4s are good.

Exactly. Plastic base or not, I’ll take this in any color.
